Dr. Dan O'Hair, a distinguished scholar in the field of communication, earned his Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma. He served as the President of the National Communication Association in 2006 and has made significant contributions to various fields of study, including risk and health communication, media management, and psychology. With over 100 research articles and scholarly chapters published in top-tier journals and volumes, he has authored and edited 25 books that explore diverse topics in communication, risk management, health communication, and terrorism. His most recent book, "Communicating Science in Times of Crisis: COVID-19," published in 2021 by Wiley Blackwell, reflects his ongoing commitment to advancing research on crisis communication.
