Comer/Ogden/Boyes/Gould’s Psychology Around Us, 3rd Canadian Edition, (PDF) is the first introductory psychology textbook to present psychology as an integrated discipline successfully. Each chapter not only offers a thorough presentation of that area’s concepts, applications, and research but also illustrates the interrelations among the subfields of psychology–development, brain function, dysfunctions, and individual differences. This approach serves to engage psychology students and presents psychology as a united and integrated discipline. Combined with a balance of Canadian and international research, rigorous scientific content, and engaging applications, this textbook is an invaluable resource for your Canadian introductory psychology students. This latest Third Canadian Edition is entirely up to date with DSM-5 coverage and updated citations and references. The chapters have also been streamlined to improve accessibility and organizational flow for better student learning.
